When I accompanied students to visit Nan-Yi, I found that the golf course is really beautiful.  No wonder there are so many people wandering around there every day.  After knowing more about the golf course, I just realized that being a caddy need hard work and professional knowledge.  Besides, there are some golf rules that audience should follow.  For example, when guests are about to tee off, audience should keep silence for fear of interfering the players.  As the saying goes, “Difference in profession makes one feel worlds apart”.  It’s really true.

Return to the school, the principle and teachers showed exceptionally good teamwork in leading students to draw a mind map, produce publications and create web pages, and so on.  Additionally, the principle helped Wen He elementary school to make out a long-term plan that is a series of themes such as the screw factory, entertainment public places, etc. will be explored and introduced gradually.

Further, school’s environment curriculum database will be well established gradually.  Not only that, students will be able to know more about their hometown, such as local characteristic, local food, local economic development, employment environment of parents, living space and so on.

I think that we have done so much, so we can truly love our hometown. Through this self-learning experience, I believe that children will cherish this land more.

I didn’t think that golf was a cheap and green sport until I visited the golf course and change my mind.  After listening to the introduction, I realized that there are some misconceptions about the golf by the public.

When visiting Nan-Yi golf course at the first time, I was attracted to the beauty of the scenery. It is like you are in foreign country, not in Taiwan.  Besides, the company has to spend a lot of money and effort to manage the golf course and do something better for the environment.  It is because the golf course needs to combine environmental protection with landscape design.

Golf isn’t so well known by the public in Taiwan.  After participating in the Cyber fair contest, I know more about this world famous sport, and hope to have the opportunity to play golf someday.
